    Description

    An exquisite Trumeau style mirror of mid eighteenth century France.  Trumeaux were large pier mirrors.  The genre was most popular with Louis XV and his Royal Entourage.  The pastoral romantic scene was originally painted, oil on canvas by Francois Boucher, one of the Kings Royal artists.  This magnificent reproduction captures the elegance and gaiety of its time.
